The white label version of this release does not have the pressing fault mentioned below in case anyone should find one of those knocking around the marketplace.

'Gone Clear' is the pick of the two tunes for me. It's a no-nonsense, Hip-Hop sampling, funkadelic roller of a tune that would fit right in with type of stuff V Records, True Playaz or Droppin' Science were putting out during that era.

crazy...mine is the same as DICA says....and never noticed - clearly the downside of buying tons of vinyl over the years, skipping through them and putting on the shelf or in the box for a mix later - only to be disappointed when it sticks/skips during a mix!!

mine actually does it twice - one about a third in and again just before the centre break - ironically both times it seems to be the exact same bassline stick.......managed to fix both of them by backing up the needle a few times in reverse and playing over it - i find this helps to cure some skips or a sticking point - im not saying it helps EVERY time, but ive had lots of success doing this over the years and if your moderately careful with some pressure on the needle, you wont cause any issues.

now for the tune itself - possibly like many others out there - Justice is one of those underated tunes that didn't get much play.......but is also one of those tunes that pricks up your ears years later thinking, whats this....? and realise you had it in your box all the time

the beauty with this release is you also get a corker of a B side with Gone Clear - and in my opinion, could have easily been the A side!
I can remember Randall dropping this at Quest mid 90s and it seriouly did some damage

Solo & Aura - great duo with some interesting back catalogue in styles - they are not all front of the box - but worth searching a few from this era!

Love this record, but there is a common pressing defect - a big skip that forms an endless loop on "Justice" about 1/3 to 1/2 of the way through. I first heard the skip on a live Dieselboy tape from '96, thought someone bumped the tables - but mine has the same exact skip at the same exact spot.

Justice is such a tune, beauty in every sense. Tight production all over. From the driving and nicely layered beats and bouncing subbass to the uplifting flute sample, gurning female vocal and "C´mon" sample this just oozes with positive vibes. If this won´t get you out your seat then I don´t know what will, this is a nice rattling but atmospheric groove! It´s so nice I had to buy it twice as my old copy went unseen in the parent´s basement.
