The Praise Singers Dub is the winner and go to mix for me. referencing Find Our Way (Breakaway) (12", 45 RPM) SU-21
Can't even start with what this one does with me, been playing it up and down for weeks now. Just amazing sound, especially Tommys mix with a beautiful vocal by Kathleen Murphy, pounding organs, a deep bassline and well arranged drums that aren't boring, could play this as a starter, peak timer and closing track, just wish the acapella was cleaner so I could work with it a bit more but still a real fire release

Tommy's Revival Mix is simply amazing. The other tracks are great too. Solid addition to any house music collection.- Edited 6 years ago

For me, it's always been about Tommy's Revival Mix. Simply, a fantastically produced record that has stood the test of time. If you're into the soulful side if house and haven't got this, snap it up right now - Edited 6 years agoWhat starts as your basic deep house, 4/4 time, bla bla turns into something far more luscious. Well, I say basic but you're only a few bars in when you realise the snappy percussion has had your feet moving for several seconds. String stabs followed by the "Punch it out!" sample already have you grooving, when everything stops for the chord stabs.
Note you may have experienced goose pimples by now. You may be smiling and nodding your head in time. This is quite normal.
I won't dwell on the detail and spoil all the surprises but safe to say, this will be a tune I will keep for a very long time. The dub on A2 has all the above less the full lyric and some of the goosepimples. It does a good job of separating the mid-range from the top end and bass enough to accentuate both, rather than making it sound hollow. Think Boris Dlugosch meets Kathleen Murphy, they have a drink, one thing leads to another...
