I don't always need a one-to-one copy of the cover. The sound is much more important to me and it is very good here. I don't know the other pressings but this one is great. I don't have a gatefold cover now, but I have an insert. Musically, the part is funny - I like crazy records.

Plenty of differences if you bothered to look, check the photos of each release

Taking making an exact replica of the cover to extremes. There's nothing wrong with making some distinction between an original first pressing and a replica/reissue. It just lacks originality and takes away from the mystery of something you have to dig for to find. Which for many diggers is more than half the fun. The journey of finding something unusual from the past.
To me these new types of replica's are something like cheap posters of a famous painting. But of course there's a huge market for it.

There's a threshold to be crossed here in the form of crazy screaming, but it fits the album so well. It's like a haunted house that's not actually scary, but the sounds are all scary-sounding. These people must have had great fun. And the music is top-notch to boot.

A vintage quote from "The Crack In The Cosmic Egg"..

A psychedelic exploitation combo, who are quite possibly something to do with The Vampires' Sound Incorporation, although they look a little like Amon Düül II in make-up!
Pure pastiche, it's a mixture of pop, beat, psychedelia, kind of chintzy underground and fusion with weird groanings and sound effects. Quaint, and very very dated. But, it's all a fun experience - I can tell you! The composers are Horst Ackermann and Heribert Thusek. Nothing at all is known about the musicians involved.

As we now know, these composers were members of the "Peter Thomas Soundorchester" and all veterans of soundtrack music since the 1950s, but still nothing more is known about the musicians (unless it tells us so in the Finders Keepers reissues)
