Is this legit? As far as I know no labels were issuing CD-R promos way back in 1992. And the CD layout is very plain for an Elektra promo CD. I'm extremely suspicious of this one.

I am puzzled by this vinyl release. The credits state the Murk Bonus Dub is 1:53 in length. Yet the Youtube video is 3:51 minutes in length. Can anybody with this release comment?

The Murk Boys remix sounds like something DJ Koolt would play...

It took me 17 years to buy a copy of the third and final single taken out from 'Infinity Within'. Before that, Deee-Lite used to release double singles, such as 'Groove Is The Heart / What Is Love' or 'Runaway / Rubber Lover'. It is not the case here.
'Pussycat Meow' was never pressed on CD-Single, which made it unavailable to the general public.
Commercially speaking, maybe 'Pussycat Meow' could have been merged with 'Thank You Everyday', or 'I Had A Dream I Was Falling Through A Hole In The Ozone Layer' (both released as simple singles), thus continuing the double format we were used to.
The MURK Boys remix (later pressed on 'Sampladelic Relics & Dancefloor Oddities') is very good and use some other vocals from Lady Kier.
The Extended Mix ends with an acapella, not credited on sleeve. I bet it would have been called the 'Meowapella'.
The Meow Mix elaborates on the famous musical jingle used in the old advertisements of 'Meow Mix': the cat food. Very funny.
The tracks are separated by vocal samples ('After a few times through... go on to the next track!', 'Join us on the next track!' and 'Remember: stop when it isn't fun!').
One of the remixes made for 'Pussycat Meow' never made it on this release. It was played for a fashion show where Kier and Dimitri made a short choregraphy. From what I have heard of it (the video is on You Tube), it sounds like a very nice alternative version and I don't understand why it wasn't included here, since the total playing time of the release is below 25 minutes.
