Wow! Was there a better album released in 2004? (Update 2011 - was there a better album released in 2000s?) Timeless songs based on Mozart and Schubert and with subtle touches of electronica here and there. The entire album is a highlight - no filler - but I absolutely love Alive, with the strong Plaid backing. Grabs you at first listen and, surprisingly, gets better each time. Have been waiting hopefully for a Mara and Plaid follow up (and tour) for quite a while now.
