The Rhythm Touch is one of the best modern disco tracks I've heard. Nice simple lyrics with heartfelt sentiment that shows how deeply these producers are into their music; rich string arrangements and a bubbling elastic bassline. Its all in the same vein as the Metro Area material, but the lyrics add another dimension and push it over the edge. Inspired and inspiring.

I'm kinda liking this one a little more with each listen, but it leaves you wanting for more. Morgan Geist produces, and it makes you think he might be having a musical block, maybe? No disrespect, Morgan, the Metro Area LP is still one of my favorite "late-night-drive-home-from-the-club" albums, but I just feel this production could be pushed further. The B-side is definitely the hit on this one, with kinda creepy, air-head lyrics (then again, what's the last philosophical techno lyric you've heard). It might work for testing the water while the floor's still standing around, getting drinks in 'em, ignoring the dj...
