- The Hiver & Hammer UK Dubtrip is a driving Tech-Trance monster, with Ronan's vocals vocodered over a Rank 1 / Marco V style rhythm.
It's ok, but will have little interest to VNV fans.
On the b-side, their vocal mix retains much more of the original song, including the main riff which was clearly inspired by Trance in the first place.
However, the main track is surprisingly the Edit. Hiver & Hammer managed to condense the original song into 4 minutes, while retaining all the energy & drama needed. In fact, the short editing increases the excitement and combined with their inventive use of structure they create a perfect mix. - Identical in nature to the other VNV Nation - Beloved 12", but without any graphics for the sleeve covering or on the record itself. Sleeve and record label are white labels.
- Edited 15 years agoThis record is often referred to as <i>Beloved.3</i>, even also at the official VNV Nation website, yet there is nothing on the sleeve or on the record to indicate that this is supposed to be its title.
