This is begging for a proper CD rerelease. Maybe the Disco Discharge series could repackage it.

I'm only giving it three stars because of my personal dislike for disco. It's actually kind of a novelty hearing these disco-fied versions of classic Sesame Street songs. But of course I enjoy the original versions more in every instance. Sesame Street Disco! was produced to capitalize on the sheer popularity of Sesame Street Fever, which was musically a better album anyway. This one has a real slick Vegas show feel which dated even worse than club disco. I will give it credit for getting some dirty bass rhythms in there from time to time.

10/10, an impulse buy that I regret but also don't

The version of “What Makes Music” on this album later appeared in the show during a skit where David skates around Central Park.
