Steller early-80s dance/R&B. The evolution of disco to dance-pop was pretty kind to Evelyn King, and collaborating with these strong songwriters didn't hurt. This record is a great example of the smooth, moody music that would live on Billboard's dance charts back in those days. Minor chords and extended instrumental passages abound. Best track is "Stop That" but they're all good. Have a Friday night dance party and throw this one on. Guaranteed to get the groove going.
