are there seriously only two "official" versions of this in existence in the world? i think discogs would do well to loosen just a little bit on the bootleg rule. i would prefer not to spend $500-1000 on a copy of this someday...

My version has a small hole and is on green vinyl.

I’ve got this. It’s a really good bootleg. Good enough that I had to spend some time ascertaining that it was in fact a bootleg. I knew it was fishy cause the guy selling it was vague about where it came from and it was way too cheap, even in the 80’s
It’s pressed on the thick vinyl that Plan 9 used. The center labels are correct. The matrix is intact, not scratched out like most fakes. The only thing wrong is the spine is black, not white. That’s it. It sounds great too

Nearly identical bootlegs exist of the Misfits Beware album. So look up the details that distinguish the originals.

I've had this version since I found it as a new record in 1990. Cover is very thin cardstock, but looks good and the sound is excellent for a needle drop copy. Highly recommended if you can't find or afford an original pressing.

I have a 7” of this with a “UK” sticker but do not see anywhere that a no-label copy was released in the UK. If anyone can confirm that there was indeed a UK version that would be awesome.

If you had asked me 10 minutes ago if I had any Misfits in my <1000 records, I would've said I don't think so. But just ran across this while swapping out my record cabinets, and damn! I bought it new for $6.00, played it less than three times (if I know me), and it's still in the "Specially imported from Great Britain"/Union Jack shrink wrap. Sweet.

Got the original off a crack head back in 1987
                    Paid $20 for it!
My kids will prosper for my Misfit collection
(Unless Roger Miret, if your watching! I’ll trade you a “United Blood “7” for it :). )

I saw a copy of this EP in the small "imports" section of a record store called Music Jungle in Knoxville, Tennessee... a new release at the time, and bought it, not knowing what to expect. It got played a lot. Fun stuff. Last Caress is one of the best and sickest bubblegum pop songs, Ramones style, ever put down in the wax. Years later, I was in a band in that same town, and a guy, known to all as Bonehead, who always came around the deli/bar that was then home to a local "punk scene," came to where we (the band) lived and he saw that I had this EP. Something like love and awe shined in his eyes while looking at the record and I knew I had to just give it to him, and so I did. It's worth some money now, I suppose. If you are still in the world and see this, Bonehead, hello to you. Those were mostly good times. Anyway... this short nasty blast from the Misfits is, in my opinion, the best they ever released on record, and should be considered an important artifact of 70s American Punk (though my ex-copy was imported from England). This one is uniquely punk with a capital P.. with a nasty sounding guitar that almost makes the first Ramones record, and even the Germs recordings, sound like high fidelity, almost, or, not really, but still. Great awful guitar sound.... and it is not yet even flirting with the more "metal" sounds that came soon after. These songs, of course, have been included on other, later, Misfits compilations.

Was "Return of the Fly" a hidden track as B4 on any of these versions?
