Latest album from the Swedes, "It's your funeral" apart from being an excellent name is a very good album of melodic metal, rocker with a good heavy voice. And to talk about Nine and an album like this, you need to know the history of the band and not place it or compare it with others, Nine is Nine doesn't look like anything. I think this album is the logical evolution of his music, which has undergone changes since his first album and his ep (Listen and To the Bottom) from those Entombed with Refused arrangements riffs . This album is so personal and sincere. Although they started out playing hardcore, later they added their share of rock to that hardcore and in the previous work "Killing Angels", they added a bit of Death and Roll (it's not for nothing that the great LG Petrov from Entombed appears as a guest) for this album add up all these aspects and take them to total darkness, both in lyrics and music. An important change in the band is the change of drummer Karl Torstensson supplanting the historic Tor Castensson who was co-composer and left his mark on the characteristic changes of rhythm of the band in previous works, the new incorporation adjusts to what was done previously by adding more power and recovering the hardcore beats of the first works. Nothing left for the vultures and No air supply were broadcast cuts thanks to the Spinefarm records label from Finland, with their respective videos where it is noted that they give rise to darkness and a gloomy way of carrying these songs. Line of crosses or The blade stand out for the groove and those choirs of Johan Lindqvist in the choruses are for the memory, being a shouted voice it maintains melody and ferocity at the same time. As a negative note, it would be necessary to say that in a certain way some songs seem to repeat themselves due to the characteristic riffs of the band, something that would bother a casual listener but not a fan of the band, in Killing Angels this was not noticeable because each song took influences of many styles and it became varied, perhaps the only problem for Its your funeral is precisely that, that Killing angels is the best thing they released. Other than that it is a nice album, that does not resort to trite things of the hardcore metal style, nor metalcore, and that it would endure over time due to its solidity.
