Beverly Hills 808303 / Frank Castle – Six-Pack

Unparalleled acid techno. And not prone to influence, not shaped by anything except the desire to express angst and agression and machine funk through a series of 808s, 303s and fx. This is the purest acid gets. Noone could do it like Ferenc did it, and we should all be grateful for these contributions. Many couldn't take or understand the possible intent of hard acid techno, and wrote it off as mindless facile hardcore fit for barns , midwest parties and Drop Bass. This was more though. This was an expression, and a series of heavily syncopated and synth-laced pieces that were fit for hardened criminals. Every track on this is a winner, it's a six pack of A-Sides Beer, so drink it and get drunk, From the relentless impact of Hatch (remember the film? hard bastard!), on to ostensibly the most shocking of them all - EXP 1 - this was a destroyer. If you want to blow the minds of a crowd, induce bad trips and fear in some, and absolute euphoria in others, play these 808303 records. There's nothing like them. (this review relates to the Pink and Blue versions, not the test pressing which is not the same exactly).

This A2 is one of hardest acid tracks ever. Acidiferous (/Cauton Acid) -Sanchez & Fernando
must be friends of him, because this is the level. A bit similar to the Acidiferous track 'Tank',
although it is more minimalistic but the same mayhem aggressive power.
