Black Sabbath – Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

The new label is absolute trash. Thats one corporate fugly logo. Burn anything with that label.

This pressing and mastering quality is pretty good on this reissue; sounds great but some songs have lower volume.

The bass response on this pressing is incredible, brutally low. It will test your speakers. Out of all the Sabbath Bloody Sabbath pressings I've heard over the years this is the one I play when I'm in the mood for its onslaught! Incredibly warm and rich sounding, super low noise floor with the translucent vinyl. A deep black background and excellent separation between the instruments. Classic as it gets!

Maybe it’s just my copy but way off center and almost unplayable. Love the album, hate this pressing. My stylus is moving like it’s trying to twerk.

Such a great great pressing, this is SO SO HEAVY, so defined and amazing bass. Simply incredible, had never heard this album like this.

My copy sounds excellent. I wish it did include the original printed insert with lyrics, though. This one has no insert. This problem affected these NEMS reissues for all Black Sabbath 1970s albums. Not sure what year they came out, but I bought mine back in 2012 or so, I think. They all sound wonderful, include all tracks in full, but this is the only one that came in a gatefold cover (which is sadly missing on selft-titled and Paranoid from this series of reissues). This one has the gatefold (less interesting than the other two mentioned gatefolds, though), but it still lacks the original insert with lyrics. I love lyric inserts, but at least the records themselves in those reissues are impeccable. I bought the first six albums at once from an online seller back then; eBay, I think.

My record matches the labels from this release but my sleeve doesn’t have the last line on the back crediting album concept and design and illustration. Any ideas? Tah!

When you see the word 'remastered' you would assume all of the recording levels have been fixed and the sound is cohesive. If you listen to this album and then immediately put on the 2016 Master of Reality pressing you have to turn the volume way down to achieve the same level. This album reminds me of the crappy 2014 - 2015 Metallica pressings I own.

Holy shit, even crackling like a CAMPFIRE my copy sounds amazing. I don’t think I’ll ever need anything else.

Ok Sab fans buckle up for what I'm about to tell you.
The '73 Japan Press, and the '75 repress absolutely beats the first UK
This is my favorite Sabbath album and I have 6 different pressings including 2 UK first press and the U.S. first press.
But a Sab vinyl collector told me to check out these Japan pressings, said they would make me smile.
Well more like stunned. More dynamic, More detail, The cymbals are shimmering, the bottom end huge, and the whole soundstage is just larger and there's depth now.
