- Insanely good early-90s techno compilation, with a meat of the music coming from pre-Lords Of Acid-era Praga Khan, Oliver Adams and Nikki Van Lierop (Jade 4 U). There's not a bad track on this disc, in my opinion. Even though it has aged over the years, it has aged particularly well, and isn't nearly as corny and dated as so much techno from the early 90s sounds today. I still love listening to this compilation now as much as I did back in my younger days.
- What a great compilation! Channel X in particular is famous from Basic Instinct, so if you know that one, you know what to expect here. I had the CD years ago, but the LP is definitely an audible improvement. Punchy, loud and full; it's got the dancefloor mojo you expect from vinyl. Detractors will just say this sounds like proto Mortal Kombat themes, but I would disagree. You can hear the New Beat and Chicago influences peeking through. It never gets dull or too campy. I didn't care for Code Red, but the rest are winners here.
