Just got this, and wow, I hadn't realised quite what was going on in the bass on the Pal Joey mix until playing on my main system - highly recommended!

What is the relationship between this song's production and Massive Attack's 'Daydreaming Luv Mix' from 1990 that appears to use the same floaty synth pads / strings? Were MA (or blacksmith) sampling something else in 1990?

Sade - Cherish The Day is IMHO the group's best 90s song. Everything in this production is just impeccable 🥇.

Sade Adu's voice was mesmerizing as always where as Stuart Matthewman, Andrew Hale & Paul S. Denman provided another example of their musical genius by giving the instrumental track a somewhat very infectious electronic feel which in turn also helped Sade to stay relevant to this day.

☝️Anyway, this increasingly scarce, promotional-only 2x12"-set should not be missed under any circumstances!

Thanks to its 45 rpm speed and its dead-quiet, highest quality vinyl pressing, the double-pack has "audiophile" literally written all over. More importantly, the sound on these two discs actually lives up to such high standard. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION 😊👍.

A little known remix gem by Pal Joey (I wasn't aware of it until I saw this release in Discogs) his trademark downtempo percussive production melding with the late night soul vibes of Sade. The original is of course, superb but Pal Joey's remix does it no disservice rather giving you something equally as good but with a fresh twist if you're too familiar with the original.
