An incredible one off record (bar some contributions to a couple of compilations) under an alias from Dylan Hermelijn AKA Planet Gong, known for his releases on Dutch label Djax-Up-Beats. On this EP for 100% Pure, Hermelijn explores a vibe anchored on sleek, fast techno, although for many the highlight will be the beautiful - absolutely sublime, and slightly slower A-side track 'Eternal Life', not dissimilar to the futuristic, utopian soundscapes rendered so timelessly by B12, Kirk Degirogio, and the Likemind label. Breakbeats can be heard on the A1 title track while B2 track 'Pure Music That Is' is a shout-out track of sorts, with spoken word voiceover giving some credits to those associated with the producer making this record - all whilst resting on a constantly shifting bed of trance-infused techno. Highly recommended!
Rated this high because it's a good EP. I bought this for the more ambient laid back sound of "Eternal Life" A pure wicked evolving sounding '93 techno tune. Plus I fucking love the bass in this track. Very simple granted, but at the same time very effective. Less is more in this case and Sandy & Dylan know it. Top tune lads. Well Done
