As with Angie Stone’s recent single release this particular solid groove comes courtesy of the O’Jays’ ‘Backstabbers’ and esteemed West Londoner producer Dave Taylor. A marked departure from his usual ‘underground’ offerings, yet this still has all his hallmarks - insinuating beats, burbling basslines and one-line hooks - to keep the prerequisite coolness very evident.
