I remember playing this record in the late 90's as the start of a dj set at an afterparty starting at 5 AM. Jaw dropping to see how the crowd went wild. Goosebumps when I hear the track.

I can't remember ever hearing a remix (of a classic) as bad as this one by Charlotte de Wit. Weak production, typical commercial garbage build-up, no emotion or feelings or whatsoever. I really see this as milking a top classic and making good money on the back of a beautiful classic. I could probably say more about it, but that wouldn't make me nice. This is just trash. Shame.0/5

The remix by Charlotte de Witte is good. It doesn't reinvent the wheel and isn't better than the original but gives the track a modern touch.
The B-side is really bad and annoying. I would rather have the remix from the A-side on this side too to have a spare in case the A-side is being damaged than this unnecessary live version.

It's good. Charlotte De Witte delivers a tough and modern rework of the original, it's very playable. But faced with either the original or this fighting for space in the box, this loses unfortunately. And, maybe a controversial opinion this, I'm not a big fan of "live" tracks taking up room when another mix could have been there. That said, I bought it, I like it, and I'll play it!

When MIKE made this it was a b side and record company heard first track and like it..universal nation was played second and all the Staff were dancing on the tables on first play

Massive Trance track. Don't need to add anything to the reviews of the track itself. It's an Anthem! I'll say that this pressing (my copy at least) is a little thin and not too loudly pressed. Other than that it sounds good. The track has a big dynamic range anyway so you're going to hear vinyl on the breaks. Otherwise not a bad pressing if you can get it cheap! :)

How do you turn such a classic tune as universal nation into a subtle, darker, moodier, more melancholic, more atmospheric version of itself?...... Give it to Oliver Lieb, that's how.
what a remix. I can only describe it as constant waves of surging melody!
Lieb is for me the greatest producer ever. This is such a huge tune from MIKE yet Mr Lieb manages to recreate it with his own unique sound and take the track in another direction entirely.
