"I'm so high" samples Roald Dahl's story DIRTY BEASTS - The toad & the snail "I was so high off the ground, I could see from miles around" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ly0G-PkOfvA (4:44) .

Did no one ever notice that the bassline in "I'm so High" is a just a car changing gear?

Stuck_in_1992, im not sure you were there? The only track I heard out in SE and London during 1992 were B1 and B2 which both got play from many dj's although only for a week or two as music was very fast moving mid/late 92. Got a shaggy and Breeze mix with both B1 and B2 present although not on many other mix tapes etc.

This record is all about trac A2 "I'm So High". You already have a classic Detroit Techno track called "The Strings of Life" by Derrick May but then when the Formation guys get ahold of that track you've got track A2 on here. They took the piano riff from "The Strings of Life" and chopped the hell out of it. It sounds so unnatural and weird and yet now it has even more energy and power then it previously did. "I'm so high" is one of the happiest hands in the air tracks that Formation Records ever produced. If it wasn't for one LTJ Bukem @ Dreamscape mix MP3 I would have never heard it. In my opinion because of this one track this record should be in everyones collection who collects this genre.

Typical top quality FORMATION release from 92. Track B1 is the anthem hammered by every top DJ back in the day, awesome mid-tempo tune with one of the best vocal samples ever ("total extacy total extacy"), great simple breaks, piano, great synth hoover stabs, lots of interesting sections / drops...
The other three tracks are all good quality though and deserve to be played. A2 has a great "I was so high off the ground" vocal sample and typical sounds, track b2 samples james brown "in the jungle", and if you can pick a wekest tune, this is probably it. Track A1 (Siren) has awesome synth stabbage, a good vocal sample, piano, and is a great tune in its own right.
All great tunes and would be the backbone of any early 92 sounding party, come on whistle possee lets hear ya !
