better quality than the youtube link, but nah, not mind-blowing remaster or anything. No insert, and the LP itself came in a ridiculous cheap shiny plastic sleeve like from a document binder. That can't be good for a record. I also thought the orange color was weird. Guess it is just anachronistic on a vintage album like this one, a bright warning beacon of its unhallowed cookie-cuttery, like if all the words on the sleeve were changed to comic sans or something.

But you know what, this record slams the jam so I am going to learn to love it.

I really enjoy this pressing. I don't know own any other one to compare it to, but I'm happy enough with this. The pumpkin orange colour of the vinyl is the cherry on top if you want to impress a chick who comes by your place and you suddenly spin this record...she'll be dancing all over you with no clothes on in no time!

Looks like another 500 were pressed in the fall of 2022.

Does any one have any insight to give on differences of mono and stereo mixed with this album ? Anything would be much appreciated. Wondering which to get.

No complaints. It’s not a $100 audiophile record but it sounds good and doesn’t have flaws like many more expensive records I’ve bought. A decent way to get this gem in your collection

Can’t compare this great album to other pressings but this one sounds wonderful.
Detailed instrumentation with that cozy analogue sound. Much better than most of the „remastered 300g from whatever tapes super duper blablabla…“ editions.

Yes, although the vinyl color choice is a bit garish, it's about the worst thing you can say. This does not sound terrible. The only reference I have is a cd (put out by Dusty Groove) and it sounds every bit as good as that , if not better. As I write this it's gone up in price fast, but for the $40 I paid , I am happy. This will have to do until Chad Kassem get his thumb out of Miles Davis' butt and starts expanding his reissue catalog! Ha!
Sorry, I mean until he realizes that other countries have music worth reissuing as well.

Just reitering what wax.and.wane said: it definitely sounds like it's from a digital source. No issues with my pressing otherwise. I did fear for the worst though when I saw just how gawdy the bright orange vinyl was, as well as still having the plastic from the punching of the centre hole still stuck to the record.
