- ...and "hole in the sky" fades out at 3'47", really??!!?? WTFF!!!!???? Andy Pearce remastering, while (half) asleep or what??!! Sloppy, lame, pathetic??
- This is just so fucking cool, for the price you get quite a lot of black sabbath with very good quality, I’ll recommend it to anyone
- Edited one year agoThree songs have been added (Planet Caravan, Back Street Kids, Supernaut) to this edition that are missing from the 4LP box set
- My only gripe is that the track placements themselves are kinda all over the place. they should have put the slower songs either at the end or in the middle. going from Fairies Wear Boots to Changes then to Rat Salad will leave your head spinning and not necessarily in a good way.
other than that small “complaint” this is a stellar greatest hits record from golden era sabbath. - Apparently not the Ultimate collection anymore...why have they removed two records from this set? So weird...
- Not keen on the sleeves outer cover art but hey, otherwise a great lp of classic Sabbath. Some people saying they wanted Iommi tracks on this to make it an ultimate collection, if argue that's not the classic line up most casual onlookers know when they think of the band.
- I'm thrilled with it ... frm what I understand these are the 2009 remasters. Sounds great on vinyl, nice fidelity ... quiet pressing too.
- The choice of songs is great, no question about it, but unfortunately the edges are not cleanly deburred. It would also have been nice if there was a 180gr. vinyl. The songs are great for that!
- Quality comp except for puzzling omission of Supernaut. Suspect they were looking to shoehorn more of the Technical Ecstasy/ Never Say Die tracks in and a couple of Tony’s treasured instrumentals.
