Most of Matt’s music sounds great, but I find this EP doesn’t sound amazing on this pressing. Not sure if I’m alone, but it sounds fuzzy and not amazing. The music itself is great though.
It’s matt good, so it’s a solid effort. That said, I’m only sort of digging three of the five tracks. Not that they’re bad, it’s just i tend to prefer the versions offered on beautiful midnight. Sound is solid, a few pops and crackles, and the midnight blue colour vinyl is a bonus. For hardcore fans I’d recommend this.
