This pressing sucks. One of the few records in my collection I've considered just chucking out cos it makes me so upset that it isn't quieter.

Finally seeing this record rotate in our cave has made us happy. It just has that something so many others lack - this hypno-acoustical essence, this capability to capture your attention and wanting to live out the experience over and over again. The soundscapes feels like they are carved precisely for the higher needs of your soul - your companion for escaping this contemporary prison of permanent hectic neurotic stimulations. You realise you've been knowing this album all your life somehow, super rare phenomenon indeed, in that sense we've only managed to come across to two other albums - Biosphere's Substrata and Lustmord's [...]Black Stars [...] - to have this ingenuity to bridge you out - even if it's for a short while - of this reality and give inner stillness. This here is no superficial card tricks in an illusionist sense. This here is sonic high magic.

Can anyone speak to the sound quality of this new vinyl issue? I've read some really poor reviews about the MPO pressing plant having a lot of non-fill issues with their LPs. Thanks in advance for your feedback here.

like the re-releases of teimo and permafrost this release on MPM sounds better than the original - ?remastered or a more modern A-D conversion of the tape master. some might prefer eg.permafrost where there's more sense of a soundscape and less of a 'tune' (this is all relative of course :)
standout for me is the final track where the pace and timing of the sounds is just awesome.
as usual big speakers are almost a prerequisite.

i expected a little bit more than time-lapse photography on the dvd but i guess it fits with the music. nothing compared to lights-out and just using your imagination though.
