Its terrific that Discoring records Italy has released/reissued italo disco classic once again in 2021. The original 12" that first was released back in the golden era of italo disco 1985 is highly sought after with over 1,000 people that have it on their "Want list" here. I also see most of the original copies that are for sale are not in the best conditions at all many without picture sleeves and in only "Good" shape. Plus they are selling for higher prices too. So it is wonderful to purchase a brand new fresh copy at under 18.00 usa dollars from Discoring records. Thanks for keeping vinyl alive in 2021 and beyond.

Zanzibar. The capital of Tanzania, a small island off the coasts of eastern Africa. A beautiful place indeed since the beginning of time. "Zanzibar". An Italo Disco song by Helen, off of the Discomagic record label. Written in 1985 and still being loved in 2007. I think that Helen's voice is beautiful and I also think that this is one of the finest songs on the Discomagic label. "Love is up in Zanzibar .. deep down in Africa." How can you go wrong with such a fine little line?
