If you've never taken ecstasy, listen to A1 Moments in time. As soon as the needle drops the excitement builds, and you know you're going to be for a doozy of a ride. This track is divine, heavenly, and majestic. It's so soft, powerful, yet full of energy that it will melt your every sense right on the dancefloor. I wonder if this is what the gateways would sound like... Pure Magic.

If I had to pick one house music album out of them all this would be it, though I have to admit: You don't find too many albums or compilations that can compete with the quality on this one, so the competition is limited. But the light just shines brighter here. Every track is extraordinary and shows the immense compositional talent of Vince Watson in a fairly confined time of his career (1999-2002), which indeed includes some very special Moments in Time.

Vince's second album is a totally successful merging of deep house vibes and a techno aesthetic. It has the soul and vibe of the former mixed with the propulsive arrangements and aura of the latter. I'd say that with Emotion Sequence he would top this and produce something even more stunning, but there's no argument to be made over these tracks: pretty much every tune here is top notch soulful melodic deep techno.

Warm luscious sounds, beautiful strings, bleepy noises, BUT with soul and emotion. "Soul techno" as it's meant to be. In my opinion these tracks are more appropiate for listening to in your home than being played for a jam packed dancefloor. Astonishing record... Beautifull lush and warm synth-sounds, groovy drum patterns and nice melodies: yes, this is must have for all true House and Detroit-Techno heads. Recommended for both home-listening and for playing in a club.
