Reviews
- Here is some music that Omar made post At the Drive in and prior to forming the Mars Volta, in 2001. Involved on this are Jeremy Michael Ward on vocals (on tracks 6 & 11) and Marcel Rodriguez Lopez on drums.
Most of the album sounds like it is Omar having some fun with mixing and messing around with tapes and recording techniques. It is out-there and may freak some people out. It is not as electronic-sound based as the earlier album realeased with Jeremy Michael Ward, although it touches the point of white-noise at points, and also reaches into the "weird electronic and looped sounds" bag of tricks.
This is recommended for major Omar fans (obsessive?) and to those out there wanting to explore the more experimental side of rock. So, pop it in and rock out in space.
