Original LPs have 2 tracks: "Zombie" and "Follow Follow" (sometimes "Mister Follow Follow"). CD reissues add 2 bonus tracks recorded live at the 1978 Berlin Jazz Festival.

This Master Release is intentionally distinct from the foreign "Zombie" compilation, Fela Kuti And Africa 70 - Zombie, which does not include "Follow Follow".

      Overall I would say this is a good clean record. It plays good and quiet. I like this music a lot and it's fun to listen to. Im going to give it a 4 star rating. The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 out of 5 is that I wish it had just a tad more brightness to it and a bit bigger of a sound stage. I find myself wanting to adjust the EQ to give it that extra needed brightness. It kind of sounds like I'm listening to streaming over bluetooth. Most likely I'm guessing this is pressed from a digital recording? Otherwise it sounds great.

        Does anyone know where these Kalakuta french pressings are sourced from? I'm hoping they're analogue because I'm very disappointed with the Knitting Factory pressings.

            beats & vocals from nigeria. five years later the zurich based federlos
            circus toured in nigeria and brought back in return the next generation
            to switzerland: femi kuti...

              I can't find my version of this. Mine has a logo for "Partisan Records" on the back in between the Knitting factory and Kalakuta sunrise logos and on the sleeve, the notes from Chris May appear on a black background with a picture of Fela next to them

                I WOULD ADVISE ALL COLLECTORS TO GET THIS COPY IT HAS THE ORIGINAL OF MR FOLLOW FOLLOW ,FELA'S COUNT DOWN TILL THE BAND BEGINS IT MIGHT BE TRIVIAL BUT A GEM TO A TO A REAL COLLECTOR
