I'm amazed this song never made it as a huge smash hit here in the U.S. I heard it for the first time at a fantastic dance club in San Francisco in the mid- to late-80s called "The Oasis." It was also often played on a great radio station there, called "Live 105," with host Alex Bennett. I've always hoped there would be more from this band but have never seen or heard of them again after this incredible single.

Today I am reviewing some nice italo disco by Cube, off the 12" for "Love's Taboo". The vocal version is a very slick 6 minute tune. It could be considered either italo disco or new wave, depending who you ask. Either way, this song is great and has a wonderful dance beat. The chorus line and beat is just a wonderful one to get you moving. This would be a great dance party song in a liveset if you wish to throw down some unknown 80's songs for your audience!!
