Love this collaboration. Really is a perfect pairing. Side A has a fair amount of crackling songs 1-4. As Owenhu stated, not enough to bother exchanging, but it's fairly annoying once you start listening for it.

My copy also has a fair amount of crackling, not enough for me to bother exchanging it though. Sounds beautiful though, amazing imaging.

One of the most interesting collaborations last year. Jarvis Cocker and Chilly Gonzales have created intimate concept album that builds around (imaginary) stories about the guests who have stayed in the Chateau Marmont hotel room 29. It’s not the pop album as the record label might tell you about, so not any Common People have stayed there, but good listen anyway. And beautiful package.

Mine needs a serious cleaning - lots of popping and background noise on both sides. Really disappointed in the pressing quality.

This was described as coloured vinyl on the RSD listing but is actually black vinyl (at least my copy is).

Is the vinyl version of "A Trick of the Light" really about five minutes shorter than the CD/digital version?
