I listened three times so far. There are two spots in B (B3, B4) with channel distortions lasting less than 1 sec. For headphone listening, they were somewhat obvious, but with speakers, they were not distracting at all for me. Overall, very good pressing in sound perspective.referencing Async (2×LP, Album, Stereo) RZJM-86312~3
This has the same mastering and cut as the Milan version, but has a much better pressing with pretty much no noise. This is the version to getreferencing Async (2×LP, Album) 399 903-2
My pressing is fine, i must have been lucky. Music is obviously awesome- there's nothing in the scans that suggest that the disc is encoded for any region. is this a region a or region free disc?

My US pressing sounds ok, a little surface noise in the quieter moments, but not distracting at all. Overall happy to have this unique masterpiece on wax.referencing Async (2×LP, Album) 399 903-2
great music, but there seems to be a problem with the pressing. I have unwanted noise reocurring on different tracks. It's a new copy and doesn't have any visible damage. Doesn't sound like a scratch, but some noise I havn't heard in any vinyl before. And reading the other comments I seem not to be the only one.referencing Async (2×LP, Album) 399 903-2
This record reminds me of being stuck on a slow rail replacement bus, on a rainy night in the dead of winter after a horrible day working in Liverpool. While that might give the impression that I don't like this record, I actually find these thoughts very comforting. And listening to this LP puts me in the mind of being glad to be heading home after a hard day.referencing Async (2×LP, Album) 399 903-2
One of my favourite vinyls of all time. Great on a sunday evening. Love this!referencing Async (CD, Album) RZCM 86314
absolutely stunning album. i listened to it in its entirety while walking thru a tbilisi fortress and it was...a life changing experience. mr. sakamoto said that he intended to make an album that sounds like the soundtrack to a tarkovsky movie that does not exist....i think he more than achieved that with this album.- Edited 4 years ago

I was looking at the other comments about the noise, and while my vinyl plays the 2 LPs entirely fine, the surface noise is a bit loud during the quiet bits. I would recommend getting the Japanese version if you can. As for the music itself, it's amazing and unlike anything I've heard before.
