- Bought this just recently and it’s obviously had two decades of being sat in pvc etc but it still sounds pretty good for a picture disc. Much better than the 2017 7” version which I also have.
- Very bassy, muddy and overcompressed. Not brickwalled(somehow(!)). Mastering is very different from digital version. This version have much more punch and energy.
You won't hear any new details(if you will hear any. lol) and sitting in front of speakers will give you ear fatigue. This one is to dance to or to do chores or something.
My copy is noisy and clicks A LOT. But somehow it adds to experience.
If you want to sit and listen, this is a horrilble 3/10 release.
If you want to dance, headbang, do dishes, summersaults or else, don't mind noise and clicks - easy 7/10 referencing Silent Alarm (LP, Album) WEBB075LP
Hey, let’s hope for a 20 year repressing!!! I’m hopeful!- Not the best in the collection but fine for so much music on each side. My copy needed a good clean but runs without background noise and skips.
Sure, a 2LP version would do this more justice but it’s still a good version of a fantastic album at a good price. referencing Silent Alarm (CD, Album) VICE 93815-2
The 2000s... can't believe it's decades ago. What a time to be alive :'')- I love Bloc Party but I am by no means a vinyl expert but I bought this 2018 pressing in 180g vinyl and I was so disappointed that I sought out and bought an original Dim Mak pressing. It is night and day. The 2018 pressing sounds noisy, dull, flat and compressed like being underwater or wearing ear plugs when listening to it. Don't waste your money on this 2018 pressing and just stream it. I suspect it will be too late for those reading this!

Worlds better than what’s been issued after.
The 2018 release is pure trash.referencing Silent Alarm (LP, Album, 7", 45 RPM, Single, All Media, Reissue, Repress, Special Edition) WEBB250LPTEN
This isn't the best sounding record in my collection by any means but it's a top 5 album of all time. It holds up well but its a little flat and quiet. Drums sound nothing like the CD or a stream version would do.- Had to clean the sealed pressing to remove pops and skips. I don't know what others are complaining about, this sounds great. It's far less compressed than the digital versions (had the CD back in the day). Bass guitar is CRANKED and sounds wildly distorted. Drums and vocals are super clear.
