The Jelly is "unobtanium" for those with reasonable budget restrictions. (((Supply < Demand)))
..... Perhaps a re-press is in order soon? - Would love to see it.

Lemon Jelly, just two LPs and already top of the downtempo genre, though that label is so reductionist for these guys. And my heart is in 64-75 but their most beautiful moments are in this album: "Spacewalk" which is basically the best you can do at paying homage to a moment where you are overwhelmed with immense beauty (seeing the Earth for the first time from space, in this case), and Nice Weather For Ducks, which has an incredible animated almost literal video and which I sing every time I go to the park and watch the ducks.

Also quite important is how they got ahead of the game of the clean polygon aesthetic so present on Mac flightsims in the 90s and generally on many modern games. These guys were the total package.

this album turns 20 soon, hopefully that means a 20th anniversary repress.

I'm lucky to have a copy of this but echoing what others have said, would love to see this reissued. It's beautiful thing and one of a handful of stone cold classic albums from that era (Kid Loco 'grand love story' Karmisky Experience's first, Trcky's 'aftermath' etc)

Can I reassure those who lust after this record that despite being one of the greatest down tempo road trip feel-good records of all time, it sounds exactly like it is - a great piece of incredible musicianship recorded on average 90s computer hardware. There is no ‘vinyl magic’ here, it’s not some dreamy trip of a sonic analogue experience - it’s cut from a digital source and the CD sounds exactly the same. It’s fairly boxy stereo field is accompanied by an adequate bass and presence overall - you may feel fairly gutted if you spent £135 just to find this out.

It’s sonically ‘satisfactory’ shall we say, but if we move aside the beautiful music it’s the artwork that makes it feel so incredible and so appealing to own. As graphic designers (one of them was) they did such an amazing job of that. That’s what hikes the price of the vinyl - it’s just so magnetic and so divine to look at.

Looking at the vinyl for sale, can anyone shed any light on the significance of the 'balloon sticker' ? I was lucky enough to be sent one of these albums by the distributing company at the time of release. It didn't come shrink-wrapped, but the balloon sticker was there in the top right corner as shown on the images for this release. Or was there a separate sticker included inside the sleeve ?

Can't believe it fetches the prices it goes for.
