A fantastic album beautifully packaged. My disc 1 is dead flat—Disc 2 has a slight warp but not enough to affect play. Both sound great, the sonic range here is really well mixed. Side 4 has no audio but an etched kinetoscopic image of a bird flying. I downloaded a strobe light app for my phone and found that a strobe of 16 fps will reveal the image when played at 33 rpm- Edited 4 years ago

On physical versions track six is dubbed "D=3.57√h", while on Constellation's website and streaming services the tracks is named "As far as the eye can see". Although I cannot explain why the difference was made, I can explain what that equation means. It's actually the formula that's used to calculate the distance of the horizon on earth in kilometers, based on your height in meters. So, it really does mean as far the eye can see referencing Stubborn Persistent Illusions (LP, 180g, LP, Single Sided, 180g, All Media, Album) CST120
Waited so many years for their come back. What a come back !
While other post-rock bands, while the years are passing, tend to have some weaker albums in their discography, Do Make Say Think made so many LPs in 20 years and invariably stunning LPs. At this moment we must admit they're definitively the big bosses and that we could kill people (love should work too) to make their next LP releases faster.referencing Stubborn Persistent Illusions (LP, 180g, LP, Single Sided, 180g, All Media, Album) CST120
very fine album of a much beloved band and gorgeous packaging too. unfortunately the pressing is not up to par. despite thick vinyl and being visually spotless there was too much surface noise and other annoyances. I returned the first copy, but the replacement was the same, so I had to return that too. quite a shame.
