Chastity Belt – I Used To Spend So Much Time Alone

FYI, this is the version I received after ordering direct from Bandcamp. Before ordering I wasn't sure if it would be this or Chastity Belt - I Used To Spend So Much Time Alone. This copy sounds great!

This album has an infinity loop on the end of Side B that's really cool! The last bit of feedback from "5 AM" before the song completely fades out repeats.

this album is one of my favourites from chastity belt. sound quality from vinyl is good, great in highs. what i love the most is ending of side B, where is endless loop from electric guitar riffing which is not on digital version.
I am giving the vinyl quality 90/100 and 80/100 of album concept.

Great sounding pressing. Had to use a wooden toothpick to flick out a couple of bits of debris though, but once done it sounded fine - minimal to zero surface noise. This is one of those pressings that takes a few plays to floss out all the pressing plant bits. I did pick it up used so it’s possible it was dirty, but it looked spotless and I gave it a clean in the Spin Clean before playing. I wouldn’t be surprised if the person that let it go did so because they thought it was a bad pressing. It’s not. I’m posting this for anyone that has a noisy copy. Give it a few plays and try the toothpick on more severe pops before giving up. Take your phone or led flashlight and look closely where you hear any big pops. If you see a spec it’s likely just debris from the pressing plant. If you don’t see anything try a q-tip with some diluted record cleaning fluid. It really a fantastic sounding record. Don’t give up on it!
