Haven’t compared to other pressings but can’t imagine one being better. Even on my budget copy with some surface noise this thing shines. Pure analog bliss. Plenty of bottom end. Lindsey’s acoustic sounds great on A2. Sounds a little fuller on the outer tracks, but only by a fraction. Shame they haven’t given a proper release since, but those of us with TT’s can enjoy. Feel like I stole it, even at VG for $30.

Seek out the ones with RL on both sides, they sound absolutely amazing all the way through. The original pressings without RL also sound decent, but they’re a bit on the muddy side, with a lot of the midrange gone. The bass is absolutely insane on this album, it literally shakes the room when cranked.

This is an excellent sounding pressing. Great soundstage and dynamics. A great album.

I cleaned the vinyl well, the first two plays sounded awful. But now it sounds wonderful- not the best sounding but wayyy better after a couple spins. I do not regret purchasing it. Hope this helps

Double RL cut and does it ever sound fantastic! Stevie and Lyndsey sound like they are in the room with you. It’s really that good! Transparent, 3 dimensional and note perfect! Do not settle for a cheap digital repress or a remaster from the so called master tapes which almost always include a digital step. You know for a fact that this is 100% analog from the original master tapes.

This album is amazing and should be reissued so others can enjoy the work Stevie & Lindsey put out.

As a review of the pressing the copy I have sounds perfect. I couldn’t expect it to be quieter and this is a 50 year old album.

The gatefold layout, with lyrics, is a nice plus. Back at this timeframe lyrics were how we judged music. Remember this is the singer/song writer era and we ate up the words artists shared and while we sometimes gave them more meaning in our mind then maybe the artist intended! (but then of course the artist couldn’t deny if we thought it was brilliant)

What’s really clear to me after hearing this album is yes, Fleetwood Mac would become superstars when Stevie & Lindsey joined, but what was put down on vinyl in 1972 by these two was more than just a little bit of the Fleetwood Mac sound, it was 75% there.

This is a hard to find album and I’m blessed to have found a copy. I hope if you want one that you too are lucky to find one and don’t need to pay too much.

Such a great sounding copy. Very full and dynamic. Mine says "Stevi" on both the labels and gatefold. Also, my copy has a brownish/orange coloured blemish on Stevie's face that doesn't rub off. It's almost like it's part of the image itself. Not sure if it's a stubborn stain or a printing error.

It was too good to be true. Basically it’s a bootleg, and the quality of the pressing is dire. Avoid.

Sounds amazing! Clear highs, the guitars jump from the speakers and punchy bass. Pure analogue sound. Glad to have it in my collection ✌🏻

Mine is in perfect condition, insert also but no obi. However I’m interested in selling it if anyone is interested.
