Little Feat – Little Feat

The label images on this repress should be different. The center label now has "Original Master Recording" in white letters, inside a slim blue banner, not thick and silver, like this one (https://www.discogs.com/release/2746084-Little-Feat-Little-Feat).

My copy is super clean, warm sound, not as loud as my FDFMN Jax pressing but still has great sound quality.

Anyone else getting a slight bit of noise in the right channel halfway through A?

This 16-bit remaster, coming 40 years after its debut, sounds amazing. The clarity, dynamics, and mix are perfect. I've heard plenty of 24-bit albums that don't sound nearly this good. Excellent!

This is my favorite Little Feat album. I bought this pressing brand new in 2008 from a record store, but unbelievably, didn’t open it until today (15 years later!!). I have a couple of copies of the original and the MFSL CD and just somehow never got around to opening it. Anyway, if you already love this record like I do, you’ll probably love it even more once you hear the Mobile Fidelity treatment. I grew up loving my original pressing, but this 2008 mastering is much clearer, with better bottom end and wider soundstage. The vinyl is dead silent too. Highly recommended.

Just picked up a copy with white promo labels and no band cover on reverse of sleeve. Runouts match this version.

I believe that usually LW in the runout stands for Longwear Plating (not Los Angeles) which was a mastering company out of New York.

Excellent hard driving country-rock roadhouse-bluesy album of loose & lively Stones-eque raw Southern roots rock numbers foretelling the greatness of this extraordinary band.
Memorable & muscular debut triumph.

My copy has the faint "S" scribed in the runout, indicating a Columbia Santa Maria pressing. It is also a 1A/1B.

This sounds so so good. Better than the later reissue and mofi. I would expect nothing less form Artisan Sound Recorders!
