referencing Emo-Droidz (CD, Album) LI006CD
V.L.A.D. appeared on Warp with an EP, then reappeared with EMO-DROIDZ, and has once again disappeared. And that's too bad, since this album holds so much promise, with succinct tracks of industrial-tinged IDM electro. "Puz D Find" is cold and icy, while "Mekasupply" comes right out of a robotics factory gone rogue. "K-Bool" brings in some funk, and "Trash Compactor" gets all twitchy. "Prison De Chairs To Eternity" has a trance-like synth progression that adds a smoothness, but "Podbulb" gets us back to crunchy, blippy IDM. "Kanda A" is a peppy piece of 8-bit chaos, and like that V.L.A.D. is done. Well, let's hope he comes back soon.
