Music is originally written by Rolf Soja, published in 1978 and presented by Shirley Kim.
Apart from a few notable exceptions like Dole & Kom or Wackside, most house music coming out of Germany in the 1990s was crap - unimaginative, stiff, and boring. This 12" is a perfect example of this: All the tunes sound like the remixers simply put the acapella over a cheap keyboard preset loop and called it a day. Which is a shame, because Andreas Dorau's original production actually has potential to be turned into a campy disco house number if you put the right people on it.

Edited 20 years agoThe Grungerman remixes offer the perfect balance of a man on woman's singing to the dirty crunching techno behind them. It sounds like a recipe for disaster, but it's a work of amazing beauty. If you're into the Profan and Kompakt sound, this one blows all the new releases away.
