      Speaking of value for money... with a total playing time of 17:04 (that is: seventeen minutes and four seconds), this single is one of the longest running 7" singles ever released. "Inside Looking Out" runs 9:29 and B-side "Paranoid" 7:35 (for that reason, the single had to be played on 33 rpm).

      Trivia:
      - "Inside Looking Out" was their only UK hit;
      - at the same time of this release, a live album was released, containing both titles of this single, but the versions featured on this single are full length versions from the studio album "Grand Funk" released a year earlier;
      - the B-side "Paranoid" is NOT a Black Sabbath cover; Ozzy & co wrote a song with that name AFTER this one.
