Dope ass album…. Only 148 have this… must be rare.referencing J. Boogie's Dubtronic Science (CD, Album) OM131
J. Boogie's Dubtronic Science's debut starts off, fittingly enough, with the slow groove of "Universal Dub" before the jazzy hip-hop of "Do What You Love" sweeps in. And even if the lyrics on "Try Me" are soporific, the tune underneath carries the track ably. Better yet, the South Asian flavor that creeps onto "Deep In The Cut" and "Golden Nectar" give them a stronger identity, while "Movin To My Beat" brings the party. But the mellow sweep of "La Playa" and "Oceanic Lullaby" offer a blissful moments, as "Ayana's Tears" takes a political bent with its jazz. And as "Le Booty Cinematique" closes out the album, we're treated to another slow, sensual groove. Solid and pleasing.referencing J. Boogie's Dubtronic Science (2×LP) OM 131 VLP
Truly blissful LP, not only the cover is fantastic with the cool picture, also Om Records can be proud to have J. Boogie on board. The productions are so diverse but so enjoyable to listen to or turn in a nice downtempo set. Five stars for this
