- Godamn....... This is wack as hell maine!!! The softest rapper since the birth of the rap itself sheesh!
- maybe RSD just needs to take more time with reprinting artwork....have original member oversee everything? I know fans were not pleased by the reprinting artwork on Donna Summer Bad Girls BUT the sound was incredible. so i'm always happy if the sound is GREAT , which is the case with the comments!!! can't wait to hear it !
- This album has a gatefold sleeve.
Compared to the original, the artwork for this 2023 variant looks like a much darker shade of orange for the background. I don't think it's too grainy but lots of detail is lost with less light in the image. It's like looking at the original artwork while wearing sunglasses. Beautiful pressing nonetheless. Let's celebrate this one! - Sound: great sound quality and volume, very few surface noise.
Artwork does not look very nuce but it was mentioned quite a lot already. - Taking a star off because packaging is lacking in quality, but pressing sounds great on my mid-di system!
- Agree with the comments about the artwork, spindle labels and general physical appearance is a bit sloppy BUT mine sounds great - minimal pops/clicks. So stoked to have this on vinyl!
- I got a lot of pops on the lead in and into to side A1. The center hole also had some irregularity - normally this is 0 issue but there is something about this pressing that is sloppy. Color is nice and there are def some very clear parts, but also some artifacts in my copy. This wont be one of your best sounding records I think. 3/5 seems right - worth getting if you love the music but could be better.
- Edited 2 years agoYes the artwork is slightly grainy on this rerelease unfortunately as alot of reissues these days use scans of the smaller available artwork, and unfortunately my labels on side A was off center and both of these things def could have been done better BUT I am so thrilled to have these gorgeous tracks on vinyl finally!! It sounds great and the orange vinyl nicely coordinates with the artwork. VERY happy to have picked this one up & that more hiphop and soul releases are being included in RSD, "cash grab" or not~
- Ugh! Total money-grab release. Poor quality scanned album art, and barely legible liner notes, all labels are bubbly and off-center, and its missing the track "So On and So On." Sound is just OK. This should have been so much better.
