      I have received a copy from Rough Trade. The sleeve says clear vinyl (DEMREC934), but the vinyl is black. Same label as shown in picture, but runout is stamped 181628E2/A & 181628E2/B

        Super clean and noise free pressing. Faithful to the original recording. Slightly crisper if anything. Not the most loved Suede Album, but this is a great version. A must if you're a fan. I am, so I love it.

          I was a little reluctant to get this reissue because of the all negative reviews for the demon reissues ... but my copy sounds absolute pristine. Very quiet, flat and the sound is great. My only critic is the adoption of the CD on the cover ... this looks silly as an LP-artwork.

            With the eponymous debut album by Suede (1993) began the heyday of Britpop: pop in back was referring to successful British pop of some decades earlier. Where bands like Blur, Pulp and Oasis were mainly inspired by the sixties (and in particular by the Beatles and the Kinks) handle Suede back on the theatrical glam rock of the 1970s David Bowie and T-Rex. Main responsible for this artistic rate was singer Brett Anderson, who are increasingly profiled as an androgynous stage presence, which the controversy not shy away. After the strong Coming Up (1996), he was, partly due to a serious drug addiction, some time get lost. On the halfgeslaagde Head Music (1999) he left the electronics still dominate. A New Morning is an old-fashioned sounding Suede album, though it is supposed to be difficult again. To Oasis-like rockers as Beautiful Loser is not to hear that. Suede has the pretensions this time largely managed to keep within the limits and that has a consistent and optimistic pop album.

              The version of Positivity on this reissue sounds different to the original cd release. Anybody know if they went with the Tony Hoffer version, or remixed it?
