Needed a clean, but after doing so it sounded fantastic.
Great release. Despite the poor review from the one human who dislikes white paper sleeves, my copy sounds amazing, looks great on ruby red vinyl, and excited to see this finally released on vinyl. Thank you Flaming Lips!!!
Not super impressed with the sound on this. Mine came with the saddest, plain white paper inner sleeve. Just the cheapest paper sleeve you've ever seen so naturally it's built up all kinds of static. I noticed the listing for the UK version got a nice printed sleeve so not sure if this is normal or not. I don't think this would've sounded good regardless of subpar packaging though. It sounds like an mp3 but worse with the added pops. I was really looking forward to this release so this is disappointing.- Edited 6 months agoThe insert is in a scandalous shape ! Same thing for Ego Tripping. Did the manufacturers house it with their feet (to remain polite) ? Has anyone else got the same issue ? Thanks for letting me know.
My copy is flat, no pops/cracks, very clear and dynamic, and the ruby red is beautiful. Very pleased with this release. Worth every penny.

Edited 2 years agorip to all those screaming fake. Released at the same time as Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell, 03/17/2023.- Wait wtf! Is this? I thought this was a rumored 2023 release? This has to be a fake, the band would've announced this with the box set.
Where does one get this release and where did it come from?- Edited 3 years agoAnybody actually know how many of these were released? I've seen a number as high as 3121 here: https://eil.com/shop/moreinfo.asp?catalogid=267235 and 4750 on Ebay here https://www.ebay.com/itm/125060209005, so an even 5000 might be a safe bet.
