Runout Side 2: o BL-36839-2C \T E - The sound is shockingly bad. Unbearable sibilance from beginning to end.
- Does anyone know why the word PHONE in the phone booth on the cover is in mirror image? At least it seems like that to me. Perhaps it's a play on the album title, or maybe it's simply that the photo is backwards (or the signs were installed backwards--it's been some time since I've seen an actual phone booth).
As for the album, I really like some of Costello's work but find it uneven. I really didn't enjoy this album much, especially "My Funny Valentine," which to me sounds like a bad audition on American Idol. His wife does a much better job with that one. - label says JC 36839 on my version. The Columbia rim is cencored with a black marker
