Notes
At Town Hall is Nina Simone second album for Colpix Records, and her first live album. The basis for the record was Simone's performance at The Town Hall, New York, on 12 September 1959. All of the songs performed at the concert are on the album, however, three of the tracks are studio versions cut the following month.

This sounds great on my setup, dead silent and crystal clear. Only complaint is my disc is visibly warped but doesn't affect playback. Great album from an awesome performance.

Advertised as pink vinyl, but mine is purple. Good pressing none the less.
Didn’t know what to expect from this one as bought on spec. No worries as it’s a nice pressing with plenty of depth. Probably not from the original source but it’s not bad at all. Terrific performances and nice sound.referencing Nina Simone At Town Hall (CD, Album) CDGLL 114
This CD on Greenline is obviously from surface noise simply taken from an LP in indifferent condition --- I would recommend any buyer to stick with new vinyl re-issue.It is a great selection of Nina at her best and most versatile, from Afro- Cuban to Standards to Gospel.
A truly awful pressing. The right channel has some rather nasty distortion at the end of side one. The surface noise is woeful. I bought this new and returned it. Four Men Without Ears more likely.

Very bad pressing actually : a very strong surface noise on both sides (stronger at the beginning of each side). Such artist as Nina Simone deserves better.
