Funkdoobiest – Brothas Doobie

The vast majority of MOV issues and MOV hip hop issues I own are really nice quality as far as the physical record pressing and sound quality wise. Most sound great on my system. They mostly use polly inners and I have had almost no sound quality issues. I read they use the best sources they can get there hands on. I don't know why so many people bash MOV, I think they are one of the better record companies by far.

Classic Hip Hop album. Unfortunately P***y Ain't Sh** almost ruins this for me. Horrible and stupid.

Any info on soundquality here? Clearness,Bass, volume surface noises?thanx for help

there are way more pressings than this and the "music on vinyl" release.
my copy pretty match up to this with the catalogue number and the runout grooves but i'm pretty sure mine is not the original.
my copy weights about 185gr and the sound is pretty good imo.

The reason the artwork looks so dark and grainy is because Music On Vinyl is notorious for using lo-res digital scans to recreate their album art. They also use shoddy digital sources for their music transfers, even when the original master tapes are readily available.

In short, you should never buy anything from MOV, especially when their inflated European price tags are almost as expensive as the original pressings themselves.

Just got my copy...as i also have the original LP from 95, i can say that the paper used is as good, print isn't though, everything is darker and less sharp. concerning the vinyl, sound is the same as the original. Props to DJ Muggs for his work during 94-95 on that awesome brothas doobie and temples of boom.

any comments about sound quality? the original is hard to find, i'd like to grab one if need some positive comments
