I understand them trying to do something different, but I'm not a huge fan of this album. The delux vinyl sounded compressed, no depth to it.... I really tried to like it, whilst there are obvious highlights, the production is pants, its not for me! I love everything Josh has done up till this, so it's disappointing. Bring back the real Queens Of The Stone Age!🤘

This isn't a record. Its a god damned mantel piece. Can someone please explain to me why the fuck I would want to get up every 3 songs to change a record? I suspect nobody ever does. They just listen to the digital versions. This record could easily fit on a single vinyl. Its a shame because I really like the music. This record on the other hand is a mangled piece of glorified trash.

excellent album, although Mark Ronson being producer certainly takes away a bit of the Queens edge. Sounds quality is good as is the pressing, a bit bass heavy/congested thou. Not sure why they did not cut this @ 45rpm and spread over all 4 sides of vinyl like " Like Clockwork"

As much as I love this album I have a terrible issue with it. The sound quality is fantastic when it's not washed out in static. My all three sides look as if they're covered in dust that I can't get off. The static on every side is horrendous, I thought there was something wrong with my setup but there was just dust caked on the stylus - took me a good 20 minutes to get it all off.
I bought it brand new from HMV in Cardiff. Anyone else have similar issues?

I picked up a copy at my local record store -- in California-- and although the packaging is excellent and the vinyl looked clean, all sides are littered with excessive surface noise. You'll hear it between tracks and wherever there is a quiet passage. I've already cleaned it twice-- not much improvement. I've just ordered the deluxe version-- hoping the Pallas pressing was done better than this (usually this is the case).

how did you get the digital download to work? my deluxe pack doesnt have any hints of a code or something and the link from my preorder summary only brings me to the two teaser .wav songs... shodl there be a card with a code or something inside?
