i forgot to note the other day that the photo on the back of the sleeve is not the same photo the original pressing had, its from the same photo sessions but not that photo, makes this edition a bit unique.........

im not sure if this was a rsd release but this was just released in the uk a few weeks ago, this is a very nice reissue, i have the orig uk 76 lp w/ the poster & the original japan pressing complete w/ obi & insert as well as some of the killer cd reissues from the 90s and early 00s w/ all the bonus tracks so i did not think i would be buying this classic ever again as i am covered BUT what they did with this reissue was make this a really nice gatefold sleeve and this is pressed on clear vinyl, this is a very worthy reissue as this was one of my top 5 favorite lps of 1976, this is probably the nicest vinyl reissue of this classic you can get!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not a cheap reissue, thick sleeve & vinyl

god it took me years to find this but FINALLY 2015 ends with me finding the original and only ever japan edition of the classic 1976 teenage depression lp with the insert and the obi wich is so damn hard to find, anyway this lp sounds as great as it looks, beautiful gold mid 70s style thick obi strip, it is just my opinion but this record was one of the best records to come out way back in 1976 and it was and still is as good as any dr feelgood lp w/wilco johnson (1974 --1977) or the ducks deluxe lp from 1975, also this lp along with the second hot rods lp life on the line had a very 60s who sound to them, a phenomenal punky sound BUT a powerful pub rock band who still plays to this day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyway this lp sleeve also comes on nice thick cardboard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this was one of the best records released in 1976, eddie and the hot rods where one of the best uk punk/pub rock bands out of the london scene, i felt this record covered a lot of ground and it has elements of 60s the who, the pirates, dr feelgood, the jam, as well as many of the punk bands of this time like the lurkers, the boys etc etc, i reccomend getting the original uk copy with the amazing poster included, the lp is not hard to find but the poster kind of is, anyway i love the hot rods but if you force me to choose, THIS WAS THERE BEST RECORD EVER................................................... RIP MR HIGGS
