Rotting Christ – Passage To Arcturo

Originally released on 3rd of May 1991.
Recorded at Mini Farm Studio on April 1991.

Although this was the MLP that helped the band to sign a contract with the international Osmose Productions, initially it didn't have an impact due to the limited marketing & distribution of Decapitated Records.

The band moved from "tape recording" its rehearsals to recording in a real studio. The band was inexperienced, so was the producer (Κώστας Στρατηγόπουλος + the band) and the engineer considering this genre of music, still the band was satisfied with the result.

The artwork has been designed by Panos Tzanetatos according to Mutilator's concept, that presents Orpheus (the first to speak of one god) gazing the star Arcturo. A passage to another reality and dimension, with a different way of thinking, not like Earth, a magical world away from monotheism.
