Best sounding version of Anthems I've heard. For the first time I can actually make out everything that's going on through the cluttered hazy mix. Better than all the other pressings of this masterpiece that exist.

I'm pretty impressed with the sound quality, very clear and dynamic for an album's whose mix is rather clustered. I just have a couple of complaints.
1) Vinyl did not come in a nice protected sleeve, rather the rough plastic lyric sheet. Mine wasn't scratched but can see how that can happen
2) It is not a gatefold unlike in The Nightside Eclipse remastered/re-released at the same time
3) Side A ends with Ensorcelled by Chaos and Side B starts with The Loss and Curse of Reverence, I love the transition between these two songs which loses impact when you have to flip the record.
Minor complaints, the vinyl looks and sounds damn good.

My copy came scratched, not criminally but enough to some surface noise. No wonder, seeing how the original inner sleeve it came in could as well be used as sandpaper. So rough even the center labels are scratched!

This version is nothing more than a collectors item. The sound is very ordinary. 180 gram is pointless when its not remastered. Don't know what source they took this from but it sounds better on Spotify

Center labels are actually correctly set (artwork on side A and tracklist on side B, as "usual"). It's just that the side B label has "that side" and "other side" mixed. Just an error from the guy who designed the side B label and not an error from the pressing plant.
Anyway the LP sounds vey good, no problem, but this is still a very flat sounding recording IMO.

This version / edition is not from Portugal. Probably the same as listed as "2018".

Anyone else have records center labels at wrong sides? Unique problem or factory fail?

There is some crackle n pops on this but it still sounds great and it could be just my copy. I still highly recommend it you will want to EQ it though to get the best sound. Cut the treble slightly and boost the bass, till you hit the sweet spots and you're golden. \m/
